Our commitment

Torrey Growth & Income Advisors is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse. Accessibility is treated as part of building and maintaining the site rather than as a separate exercise, and it is reviewed whenever the site changes materially.

Conformance target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. WCAG is the international standard for making web content accessible, and Level AA is the level most commonly referenced in law and procurement.

We describe this site as substantially conforming to that standard. We do not claim full conformance, because full conformance is a claim no responsible operator can make on the strength of testing alone. The section below describes exactly what was measured, so you can judge the claim for yourself.

Current status

The site was assessed on 24 August 2026. At that assessment, across all nine pages at mobile, tablet and desktop widths:

• No automated WCAG 2.1 Level A or AA violations were detected.
• Every one of the 501 interactive controls on the site had a visible keyboard focus indicator.
• All text passed the Level AA contrast minimum, including text set over photographs, which was measured against the actual composited image rather than estimated.
• Every image carried alternative text, every page had exactly one main heading, and no page scrolled horizontally at 390 pixels wide.

An earlier version of this site did not meet the contrast minimum in several places. Those failures were identified by measurement, corrected, and re-verified before this statement was published.

How this site was assessed

We think an accessibility statement is only worth as much as the testing behind it, so here is the method rather than a summary of it.

Every page was rendered in a real browser engine at 390, 820 and 1440 pixels wide. The axe-core testing library was run against the full WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA rule set on each page at each width. Keyboard focus was verified programmatically on every focusable control.

Text placed over photography cannot be evaluated by automated tools, which report it as indeterminate. We measured it separately: for each run of text, the text layer was hidden, the composited background was captured, and the contrast ratio was calculated per pixel against the real image beneath the real overlay. Results were taken at the fifth-percentile pixel, so a passing result means the great majority of each character meets the standard rather than its most favourable part.

Known limitations

We would rather tell you where this site falls short than let you discover it.

• Testing has been automated and programmatic, not human. Automated tools reliably catch only a portion of accessibility problems. This site has not yet been tested by people using screen readers, switch access, or voice control in their own environments. Some barriers are only findable that way, and we expect there are some here.
• Some linked PDFs are not fully accessible. Our Privacy Notice is not currently tagged for assistive technology, which makes it difficult to navigate with a screen reader. Our Form CRS is tagged but lacks a document title. We are remediating both. In the meantime, we will provide the content of either document in any format you prefer, at no cost and without needing to explain why.
• Scheduling happens on a third-party service. The "Book a Call" links open Calendly, which we do not control and have not assessed. If you would rather not use it, call us and we will arrange a time directly.
• Text over photography sits closest to the limit. Headings and captions placed on images meet the standard but with less margin than text on plain backgrounds. If any of it is hard for you to read, we want to know, and we will change it.

Accessibility features

Things that are built into the site, in case they are useful to know about:

• A "Skip to content" link is the first thing keyboard focus reaches on every page.
• The whole site is operable by keyboard, and focus is always visible.
• Pinch-to-zoom is enabled. Nothing on this site prevents you from magnifying it.
• Pages use semantic landmarks and headings, so screen readers can navigate by structure.
• Expandable sections and menus announce their state to assistive technology.
• Motion and scroll-triggered animation respect your operating system's reduced-motion setting.
• Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.

Technical specifications

Accessibility here relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA, and on the combination of your browser and any assistive technology you use. The site is built and tested against current versions of major browsers. If you use an older browser or an unusual configuration, some of the above may behave differently.
