Regulatory information about Torrey Growth & Income Advisors LLC, how the figures on this website are calculated, and the limits of what you should take from anything published here.
Firm registration
Torrey Growth & Income Advisors LLC is an investment adviser registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, CRD number 139940. Registration with the SEC does not constitute an endorsement of the firm by the Commission, nor does it imply that the firm or its personnel have attained a particular level of skill or ability.
The firm's registration record, including its current Form ADV, is available on the SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure website at adviserinfo.sec.gov/firm/summary/139940.
Torrey Growth & Income Advisors LLC maintains offices in Del Mar, California and Washington, DC. Nothing on this website is an offer to provide advisory services in any jurisdiction where the firm is not so qualified.
How our firm figures are calculated
Where this website states firm figures, those figures are as of August 20, 2026 unless otherwise noted. They are not updated continuously and will differ from current values. Three figures appear across the site:
- Independent since 2006. Torrey Growth & Income Advisors LLC has operated as an independent, family-owned registered investment adviser since 2006. "Independent" here means the firm is not owned by, and does not operate as a subsidiary or affiliate of, a bank, broker-dealer, insurance company, or asset manager.
- $300M+ under management. This figure represents assets under management or advisement as of August 20, 2026.
- 200+ families served. This figure represents households served as of August 20, 2026.
Where the site refers to serving clients in more than 25 states, that count reflects our best assessment based on our records as of August 2026. Client counts and asset totals fluctuate with markets, contributions, withdrawals, and the addition or departure of clients.
These figures describe the size and history of the firm. They are not a measure of investment performance, and they should not be read as an indication of the results any client has experienced or that any prospective client should expect.
Nature of the information published here
The content of this website is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute personalized investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or to adopt any investment strategy.
Nothing published here takes account of your particular objectives, financial situation, risk tolerance, time horizon, tax position, or needs. Investment decisions should be made only after consideration of your own circumstances, and, where appropriate, in consultation with qualified professionals.
Any downloadable materials, articles, or other educational content offered on this site are subject to the same limitation. They describe general considerations and are not advice directed at any individual.
Information on this website is believed to be accurate as of the date published but is not guaranteed. Content may become outdated, and the firm undertakes no obligation to update it. Any statements about future events, market conditions, or outcomes are forward-looking, reflect current views only, and are subject to change without notice.
Investment risk and performance
All investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. Different types of investment carry different levels of risk, and there is no assurance that any specific investment or strategy will be suitable or profitable for a client's portfolio.
Past performance is not indicative of, and does not guarantee, future results. Diversification and asset allocation do not ensure a profit or protect against loss in a declining market.
This website does not present composite or individual account performance. Should performance information be published in future, it will be accompanied by the disclosures required under the SEC Marketing Rule.
References to particular strategies, asset classes, or planning techniques — including options strategies, portfolio-backed borrowing, concentrated stock management, and charitable structures — describe approaches the firm may use in some circumstances. They are not recommendations, they carry their own risks, and their appropriateness depends entirely on individual facts.
Financial planning, tax and legal advice
Torrey Growth & Income Advisors LLC is not a law firm, an accounting firm, or a tax advisory practice, and none of its personnel provide legal or tax advice in that capacity. The firm coordinates with the client's own certified public accountant, estate attorney, and other professionals, and works to align investment strategy with the plans those professionals put in place.
Tax and estate discussion on this website is general in nature and reflects rules in effect as of the date of publication. Tax law changes, and its application depends on individual circumstances. Consult your own tax and legal advisers before acting.
Financial planning projections, whether presented on this site or produced for clients, rely on assumptions about returns, inflation, longevity, spending, and tax treatment. Actual results will differ, often materially. Projections illustrate possibilities; they are not predictions or guarantees.
How we are compensated
Torrey Growth & Income Advisors LLC is a fee-only firm. The firm and its personnel are compensated solely by fees paid by clients, and receive no commissions, no trailing commissions, no sales loads, no revenue-sharing payments, and no other compensation from third parties in connection with the products or securities recommended to clients.
Fee-only compensation reduces, but does not eliminate, conflicts of interest. Because advisory fees are generally calculated as a percentage of assets under management, the firm has an economic incentive to encourage clients to increase the assets it manages and to advise against actions that would reduce them. The firm's fiduciary duty requires that it act in the client's best interest notwithstanding that incentive.
A full description of the firm's fees, its conflicts of interest, and how it addresses them appears in its Form ADV Part 2A brochure, available at adviserinfo.sec.gov, and in summary form in the firm's Form CRS.
